You mean you're okay with abortion being legal right up until they cut the umbilical cord? You don't want nine-month-old unborn children legally protected?
Hi, Suzanne! Welcome to the blog. Are you sure? You seem to be suggesting that 8 1/2 month old fetuses are aborted daily because the mother suddenly decides she doesn't want the damn thing. This is just not the case. We all know what your side of the issue wants to do, which is incrementally roll back the status quo on abortion. This of course, is your prerogative. Good luck, and may the most enlightened win.
By the way, you should mudwrestle my girlfriend on this issue. She'd take you apart. I'd shoot the video.

We don't know if it happens on a daily basis because there's no law or regulation requiring gestations to be reported.
Partial Birth Abortion, a commonly used procedure for late-term abortions is absolutely barbaric. It can be used on unborn children as young as 4 1/2 months.
Besides that, there's no law specifically protecting the unborn child in a case where the mother is assaulted and the child dies as a result. The perpetrator would only be charged with aggravated assault.
And if your girlfriend mudwrestled me on the issue, I'd get my ass whooped. I think I'll stick to blogs.
I think S could kick anyone's ass on this issue, in the mud wrestling ring or not.
Well, let's just stick this one in the "minds are probably not going to get changed" category... Although I do admire your dedication to hunting down comments like mine within minutes/hours of them being posted, and starting a debate. Woot.
Speaking as a parent, abortion should be legal until age 65. Not just speaking for myself, but my own parents as well.
